Blackbird Morning was formed by singer-songwriter Danielle DeCosmo and guitarist-producer Tony Goodwin. Rooted in classic song craft, the band blends roots-based rock, improvisation, and global influences into a sound that feels both timeless and forward-looking.

Described as “Indie rock with space to breathe,” Blackbird Morning channels emotional gravity while weaving in angelic vocal harmonies, sacred tones, and poetic lyricism. Their music is guided by their respective Roman and Native American ancestry and their decades of experience as hospital music therapists.
